This song was made famous by Irish actor Noel Purcell and is sung with happiness as you stroll through the old streets of Dublin. An 8 hour tour with one of Ireland’s premier national guides, the distances are not long but this is a very enjoyable scenic, relaxing tour. See Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Gaol, St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Phoenix Park and the Guinness Storehouse. Afterwrads, moving on to the historic areas of interest in the Dublin region. We will arrange various visits to encompass the Irish Civil War / Foundation of the State / 1916 Rebellion. See where the Vikings first landed and created a settlement and where the Anglo Normans developed the medieval city. Areas of interest are the two principal cathedrals of Dublin dating from the 11th and 12th centuries, St Patrick’s & Christ Church Cathedral.

8/9 Hours

09:00 You will be picked up from your hotel or a venue suitable to you in Dublin and dropped back at the end to your chosen venue. In between, you will be driven all around Dublin city and County. You will be shown all the essential sites to visit.

(There may be time to do one or two of the internal sites like the Book of Kells at Trinity College or any other places of interest you may request).

Culturally, visits to the Guinness Storehouse are a must. Dublin Bay, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Grounds of Dublin Castle, City Hall, Kilmainham Gaol, Moving on to the historic areas of interest in the Dublin region, we will arrange various visit’ to encompass the Irish Civil War / Foundation of the State / 1916 Rebellion.
